Job Qualification Requirements:
• Must have 3 months work experience as Seamer and/or Upholsterer.
• Demonstrate ability in operating hand tools and power tools when necessary.
• Demonstrate ability in operating sewing machine to perform duties.
• Employment is contingent upon the applicant’s ability to meet all pre-employment requirements and to maintain eligibility to perform assigned job duties in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including standards related to safety, security, reliability, and suitability for the position, including the requirement to secure and provide a police clearance prior to commencement of employment.

• Employment Duration: The job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position commencing on September 01, 2026 to August 31, 2027.
• Work Hours and Days: The workdays and daily work hours schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
• Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
• Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

• On-the-Job Training Available: Workers will receive orientation and familiarization with employer-specific procedures, safety protocols, and equipment. Workers must possess the skills required to perform the job duties at the time of hire.
• Employer-Provided Tools and Equipment: Workers will be provided, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
• Board and Lodging: Not provided. Employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging, or other facilities.

Summary of Duties: Operate or tend sewing machines to join, reinforce, decorate, or perform related sewing operations in the manufacture of non-garment products, such as upholstery, draperies, linens, etc.
Specific Tasks:
· Folds or fits together materials, such as cloth, foam rubber, or leather to prepare for machine sewing.
·Fit, install, and secure materials on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, or staples.
·Read work orders and apply knowledge and experience with materials to determine types and amounts of materials required to cover work pieces.
·Draw cutting lines on material following patterns, templates, sketches, or blueprint using chalk, pencils, paint, or other methods.
·Removes finished materials from sewing machine.
· Cuts materials according to specifications, or cuts excess material or thread from finished product using blade, or scissors.
· Examines and measures finished articles to verify conformance to standards, using ruler.
· Position and marks patterns on materials to prepare for sewing.
· Replaces needles, sands rough areas of needles with sandpaper, cleans and oils sewing machine to maintain equipment.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
